Woodstock Stallions head to semis

The Woodstock Stallions of the Western Ontario Soccer League’s First Division defeated London English B 4-0 in their quarter-final First Division Cup match Sunday at Cowan Park.

Woodstock had goals from Jesse Shelton, Luccas Matern, Andrew Currie and Grant Takacs.

The team’s also in first place in the division with a 7-2-2 record for 23 points, which has them three points ahead of second place St. Thomas and three over third ranked Wallaceburg Sting.

They’ll play the Simcoe Thunder July 22 at Cowan Park at 6 p.m. with the winner advancing to the Cup final.
