Organizers call it a family-friendly event featuring several competitors from southwestern Ontario.

“A live wrestling event is a pretty unique experience that doesn’t compare to much else,” co-organizer Jay Smith said in a statement. “We’ve got some of the top names around and the best up-and-coming talent from Ontario, Michigan and Buffalo all joining us in Chatham for the show.

“Our goal is to bring a really solid and fun product to local fans and help them get lost in the magic.”

The southwestern Ontario wrestlers scheduled to perform include tag teams Books & Looks (Rodney Matthews and Michael Greyson), High Octane (Bryce Hansen and Chilly Brown), and Locked & Loaded (Wheeler and Jessie V).

Space Monkey, Ethan Dux, “The Alpha” Chris Moore and “The Prodigy” Vikram Prashar are slated to attend, too.

The fight card also includes Psycho Mike, “The Saturday Night Delight” Tyler Tirva, Mark Wheeler and “The Remix” Kevin Bennett from the independent pro ranks as well as Jody Threat, Miley and Taylor Rising.

Smith is working with longtime wrestling show planners Jim Lengyel, Matt McAusland and Holly Lengyel.

He wants to eventually hold another show as a charity fundraiser.

“This show will give us a great idea of what is possible in the area for more events in the future,” Smith said. “I’d love to be able to potentially help some great local charities and causes.”

Tickets are available at the WISH Centre, 99.1-FM CKXS in Wallaceburg, and Silver Tee Golf and Virtual Gaming Centre in Windsor. They’re also sold online at eventbrite.ca.

General admission tickets cost $25 in advance and $30 at the door. The doors open at 6 p.m. and the bell rings at 7 p.m.
