Compiling a 3-0 record, Drobac made 66 saves. In a 3-2 win against Oshawa, he turned away 18 of the 20 shots he faced before following that up with a 22-save performance in a 5-1 win over Windsor.

He then concluded the week by stopping all 26 shots he faced in a 3-0 shutout victory versus Mississauga. That game also marked Drobac’s 56th career win with the Bulldogs as he became the team’s all-time leader in goaltender wins.

So far this season the 20-year-old Oakville native is 18-8-4-2 with a 3.20 GAA and .893 save percentage.

Drobac becomes the third Bulldog to be honoured by the OHL this season after Nick Lardis was named player of the week (Dec. 4-10) and Jake O’Brien was named rookie of the month for December.

Sudbury Wolves forward Quentin Musty was named the OHL Player of the Week after registering two goals and eight assists in three games.
