That’s one legendary text.

NBA legend Michael Jordan has shared his final conversation with the late, great Kobe Bryant — a series of texts dating back to Dec. 8, 2019, 49 days prior to Bryant’s death.

The texts were shared with ESPN ahead of Jordan inducting Bryant into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on Saturday.

Bryant and his daughter, Gigi, were among nine people killed on Jan. 26, 2020 when a helicopter crashed into a hillside in Calabasas, Calif.

That was in reference to Jordan launching a tequila line, Cincoro Tequila.

Jordan went on to ask Bryant how coaching his daughter’s hoops team was going.

“Hey, coach, I’m sitting on the bench right now, and we’re blowing this team out, 45-8,” Bryant responded to his former mentor and friend.

“I just love that text,” Jordan told ESPN, “because it shows Kobe’s competitive nature.”

Jordan spoke at length at Bryant’s memorial in L.A.

“When Kobe Bryant died, a piece of me died, and as I look at this arena and across the globe, a piece of you died,” he said.

“I promise you, from this day forward, I will live with the memories of knowing that I had a little brother that I tried to help in every way I could,” Jordan added. “Please rest in peace, little brother.”
