Opposition should stop complaining

I realize that the job of an opposition party leader is to criticize the ruling party but Ontario NDP Leader Andrea Horwath’s constant complaining is getting tiresome. How about some positive suggestions to help improve the situation we are all experiencing instead of the constant whining?

Unruly students should be expelled

It seems as though some students don’t understand the seriousness of a pandemic. Every year there has been a spike in parties causing problems throughout our city from vandals, to fights. Some students think that the importance of the university year is partying instead of studying and there doesn’t seem to be enough being done to combat some student’s behaviour.

I feel that a pandemic should be taken more seriously than it has been and if students cause spikes in COVID-19 in our city then they should be the ones who should be expelled permanently for not following university regulations. We need to take this seriously in order to get our students to take things seriously.

No need to extend restrictions here

I noticed the health unit is asking the province to extend COVID-19 gathering restrictions to London and Middlesex. This request is being made by Dr. Chris Mackie who is the gentleman who attended a demonstration back in June while recommending against such attendance.

His excuse was he did it “as safely as possible.”

Why is the same reasoning not being allowed to the citizens of London?

Why are we being lumped in with the citizens of Peel, Toronto and Ottawa?
