Consider tickets to Theatre Tillsonburg’s February musical, Nunsense by Dan Goggin. From Theatre Tillsonburg’s website, “Nunsense is a hilarious spoof about the misadventures of five nuns trying to manage a fundraiser. Sadly, the rest of the sisterhood died from botulism after eating vichyssoise prepared by Sister Julia, Child of God. Thus, the remaining nuns – ballet-loving Sister Leo, streetwise Sister Robert Anne, befuddled Sister Mary Amnesia, the Mother Superior Sister Regina, and mistress of the novices Sister Mary Hubert – stage a talent show to raise money to bury their dearly departed. With catchy songs and irreverent comedy, Nunsense is sure to keep you rolling with laughter.”

On Sunday, Jan. 7, Annandale National Historic Site (aka the museum) is hosting Mayor Deb Gilvesy and the town council. The Mayor’s Levee is an opportunity to welcome the New Year and talk about what’s going to be happening in town with the mayor and council. It is also the last chance to take in the Christmas exhibit in the Pratt Gallery and tour Annandale House decorated for the holiday season. The levee is 2-4 p.m. with light refreshments being served.
