Aug. 15: Artisans at The Hobby House, 190 Running Creek Dr., Wallaceburg, from 8 a.m. onward. Everyone welcome.

Aug. 16: Sunday Evening in the Park service, Dresden, at 1233 North St., 7 p.m. Organized by the Dresden and District Ministerial Association. The Chapelaires providing music, with Pastor Nichelle Howarth of Dresden Community Church speaking. Derrick Drover providing music, with Rev. Andy Cornell of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church speaking. Rain location at Dresden Christian Reformed Church, 956 St., Dresden.

Aug. 18: A take-out style community meal served at Bethel Pentecostal Church, 35 McNaughton Ave., Wallaceburg at 5 p.m. Just wait in your vehicle and it will be brought out to you. If walking or biking just line up at door under the carport.

Aug. 22: Huge estate sale at the Moose Lodge, 110 Duke St., Wallaceburg, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Something for everyone.

Aug. 23: Sunday Evening in the Park service, Dresden, at 1233 North St., 7 p.m. Organized by the Dresden and District Ministerial Association. Jeff & Tim providing music, with Rev. Barry Kentner of Trinity Christian Centre. Rain location at Dresden Christian Reformed Church, 956 St., Dresden.

Aug. 29: Moose Lodge, Wallaceburg 18-hole golf tournament at Hidden Hills Golf Course, Highway 40. Includes golf, cart and food for $240 for four persons. Shotgun start at 11 a.m. $100 for a hole sponsor. For more information, call the Moose Lodge at 519-627-8288, Ron at 519-784-3222 or Ted at 519-627-6724. Make cheques payable to Moose Lodge 1156 for golf or the hole sponsorship. Golf must be paid for by Aug. 22. Proceeds to Muscular Dystrophy.
