A terrified little boy desperately phoned 911 as he tried to save his mother from his rampaging stepfather, police in Orlando say.

As the eight-year-old called cops, his mom, Tyneel Lindsey, was being strangled.

But by the time cops arrived, his mother was unresponsive and covered in blood.

Her husband, Jason Lindsey, 36, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

Officers busted Lindsey as he emerged from the couple’s bedroom closet with blood on his clothes.

He claimed he stabbed and strangled his wife in self-defence, adding that she was physically abusive and had stabbed him in the past in a jealous fit.

This time, he said, she accused him of cheating and attacked him with a kitchen knife.

When he fought back, she screamed for help that brought her son rushing into the bedroom, he said.

According to police, on the 911 call, the little boy can be heard screaming for his stepdad to stop.

The couple had been together for six years.

Jason Lindsey later told deputies he “kinda lost it” and grabbed his wife’s throat with one hand, then stabbed her with the kitchen knife while strangling her.

He is being held in the Orange County Jail without bond.
