Verbal altercation leads to physical confrontation in grocery store

On Wednesday, April 29, at approximately 3:37 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment investigated an assault after being called to a grocery store on Simcoe Street, east of Tillsonburg.
It was determined that an individual became involved in verbal altercation with a store employee which turned into a physical confrontation. As a result, police charged 36-year-old Mercy Davis of Toronto with assault.
The accused was scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Simcoe at a later date.

Theft from local business results in charge
On Wednesday, April 29, at approximately 5:55 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment responded to a theft complaint at a Simcoe Street, Middleton address, east of Tillsonburg.
It was determined that an individual attended a local business and removed merchandise from the store.
As a result, police charged 34-year-old Alison Ashley Lynden Csinos of Tillsonburg with theft under $5,000.
The accused was scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Simcoe at a later date.
