The Town has moved forward to fill the positions of Director of Finance, Director of Operations, and Director of Recreation, Culture and Parks on an interim basis, he said in an email.

“Town Council and staff are working diligently together to build an organization that is equipped to address the tremendous challenges currently facing the community from the COVID-19 pandemic to economic re-building,” said Pratt. “We are completely dedicated to building a strong organization that will deliver the best quality of life for all residents.

“While the next few weeks will be a time of transition, I am certain that we will build our new team quickly and will continue to focus on supporting Council’s strategic goals,” added Pratt, who has been certified by The Human Resources Professionals Association as a Certified Human Resources Professional CHRP (in 2013), and Certified Human Resources Leader CHRL (2014).

The four are no longer shown on the Town of Tillsonburg website. Matters of Human Resources (legal and personnel) are not openly discussed by Councillors or Town staff.

“In the short term, the conversation, the direction that takes place in executive session remains there,” said Mayor Stephen Molnar. “Tillsonburg will continue to be engaged, transparent and share next directions with the community as soon as possible.”

Rushton ($137,217.60), hired in 2016; Cox ($128,928.80), hired in 2012; and Deleebeeck ($132,560.80) were three of 14 Town of Tillsonburg employees on Ontario’s ‘Sunshine List’ in 2019.
