Tillsonburg Public Library re-opens for limited on-site services

Tillsonburg Public Library, a branch of the Oxford County Library, has re-opened for limited on-site services on Monday.

The re-opening aligns with Stage 2 provincial directives. All appropriate health and safety protocols will be in place and strictly followed to protect staff and patrons.

Tillsonburg Public Library re-opens for limited on-site services Back to video

On-site services at the Tillsonburg Public Library will include four public access computers available for 30-minute or 60-minute time slots for use by appointment only.

Printing and copying services will only be available to computer centre users.

There is no browsing from shelves at this time. Books can be selected using the on-site computers, if one is available.

Additionally, contactless book pick-up and drop-off will be available. As with the curbside service already in place, all patrons will be notified when their holds are ready to be picked up.

Physical distancing measures that will be followed include:

Limiting the number of people allowed in the facility at one time.

One-way traffic flows through the facility.

Adherence to a rigorous cleaning and sanitization schedule.

A requirement for staff and patrons to stay 2 metres (6 feet) apart at all times.

Encouraging patrons to wear a face mask.

The Tillsonburg Public Library is open 2-8 p.m. Monday and Wednesday; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Curbside pickup and delivery in Ingersoll will continue to be offered with extended hours. Curbside pickup is also available at 10 other Oxford County Library branches.
