Theft of truck, ATV in Tillsonburg

On June 8, at approximately 5:15 a.m., the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police received a report of a theft from Magnolia Drive, Tillsonburg.

Investigation determined that sometime overnight, unknown(s) stole a pick-up truck and an all-terrain vehicle (ATV).

The truck is described as a maroon-coloured Chevrolet Silverado with licence plate BC13457. The ATV is described as a green and black coloured Can Am Outlander with licence plate 5PP42.

Anyone with information about this investigation is asked to contact the Oxford County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

One in custody after police called

On June 5, at approximately 6:15 p.m., the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police arrested a 35-year-old on Colin Avenue, Tillsonburg.

Investigation determined that police were called to check on the well-being of an occupant at that address. As a result, Logan Holden of Tillsonburg was charged with Mischief Under $5,000 and Assault Peace Officer.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock at a later date.

Trailer break-and-enter

On June 8, at approximately 7 a.m., the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police received a report of a break and enter to a work site trailer on Harvest Avenue, Tillsonburg.

Investigation determined that sometime since June 5, 2020, unknown(s) broke into the onsite work trailer. Once access was gained, a laser survey tool was removed.
