Talks are underway for possibilities for this year’s Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show.
The pandemic claimed last year’s fair, but various options and opportunities that may be available for this year are being developed and discussed by the fair’s board of directors, volunteers and staff members.
“The importance of the fair to people in our community resides in the heart of our efforts 2021. So, this year more than ever, we hope for your support and patience, and we will release information as it becomes available in these in these ever-changing times,” said a media release.
The Norfolk County Fair has been part of the community for 181 years.
The fair will be working with various industry partners, including the Haldimand Norfolk Heath Unit, to ensure the safety of the community remains the top priority for this year’s event.
“Be assured that the safety and well-being of our community, volunteers, exhibitors, partners and fair patrons always comes first,” said the release.
The fair would normally operate from Oct. 5-11.
