Simcoe man wins $6-million lotto prize
A Simcoe man is the winner of the $6 Million Princess Margaret Home Lottery grand prize.
Gregory France was named the winner of the draw, with ticket number 123 024, said a social media post on Ot. 22.
“Congratulations to all our winners and thank you for supporting the Fall 2020 Princess Margaret Home Lottery,” said a press release from the foundation. “Together we can conquer cancer by helping to fund innovative discoveries and new treatments at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre – one of the top 5 cancer research centres in the world.”
The 7,500 square-foot Oakville home has five bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms.
“This showhome features a chef’s kitchen with luxurious appliances, a two-storey great room with tons of natural light, a study, a dramatic staircase, and sweeping sightlines, Art Deco design details and intricate floor patterns, a lower-level fitness centre, and home theatre,” says the lotto website.
It was designed by Brian Gluckstein of Gluckstein Design Planning Inc. and custom-built by PCM.
The prize also includes a 2021 Porsche Taycan 4S and $1 million in cash.

Irene Green of Waterford is also among the prize winners. Green won a three-night stay at Blue Mountain for two adults and two children.
