Police said Friday that they seized 2,600 cannabis plants with an estimated value of $2.6 million from a commercial building on Clearview Drive in Tillsonburg.
Four Toronto residents, aged from 38 to 43, who were found inside the building are each facing charges of cultivating, propagating or harvesting any cannabis plant that is not in their house.
Police said they executed a search warrant under the Cannabis Act on Aug. 25. Taking part were OPP officers, the OPP emergency response team and members of the Oxford, Haldimand-Norfolk and Brant street crime units.
The investigation continues, police said.
