Fake pizza orders delivered to homes
A pizza prankster has prompted a police investigation in Norfolk County.
Someone ordered pizzas from different eateries and had the fake orders delivered to various homes in the Norfolk County, said police.
Norfolk OPP were alerted to the incidents on Sunday afternoon. The number of homes and businesses impacted was not released.
The suspect used the same phone number for all orders. Police are now investigating.
Security cameras stolen
Someone made off with security surveillance equipment after breaking into a property in the St. Williams area early Friday.
Norfolk OPP say someone broke into a property on Queen Street East, Charlotteville, in Norfolk County in the early morning hours. Two wireless surveillance cameras, the Sync box for the equipment and an android box were stolen.
Investigation is continuing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
Theft from vehicle at OPP station
A woman is facing charges after being accused of breaking into a vehicle parked at the Ontario Provincial Police detachment in Simcoe.
A police officer returning to the detachment spotted a person rummaging through a vehicle in the parking lot.
Norfolk OPP say the accused had just been released from police custody on a different matter when the theft occurred.
A 38-year-old Norfolk County woman has been charged with theft under $5,000 from a motor vehicle.
She is being held in custody and will appear in court at a later date.
