With its annual live event scuttled by the pandemic, the Norfolk County Fair and Horse Show has announced the release of an online series of videos.

A Celebration of the Norfolk County Fair and Horse Show, presented by CIBC, will premiere at 7 p.m. on Oct. 6 on the fair’s website (norfolkcountyfair.com) and on Facebook and other social media platforms. It’s the first in a series that continues to Oct. 12, with a new video released daily, loosely following the regular fair schedule

The videos will feature interviews, pictures and videos from past fairs, as well as newly produced programming that highlights everything about the fair.

“This will be a real celebration with great moments and opportunities to learn more about how the competitions work and how to win a red ribbon,” George Araujo, fair general manager, said in a news release.

“We’re also featuring classic images and video from past fairs and a drizzle of historical items. Over the month of September, we were shooting all over Norfolk County at farms and ranches to bring the best of the fair to life with a variety of equine, livestock, and poultry at their finest. We went indoors for homecraft, art and photography tips and tricks”
