Mooretown Library, Sarnia Library Theatre set to re-open

Mooretown Library and the Sarnia Library Theatre re-opened Feb. 1, following the province’s announcement to ease COVID-19 restrictions.
With the re-opening of the Mooretown Sports Complex, the library will re-open book return drop boxes as well as in-person browsing, wi-fi use and academic research as capacity limits allow.
Public computer use will also resume, though by scheduled appointment only.
The Sarnia Library Theatre also re-opened on Feb. 1, supporting community programs and groups in its 306-seat, accessible space.
In March and April, Lambton County Library will be hosting Rhythms of Lambton, a concert series that will display some of the community’s rich music history, featuring several local groups performing onstage and a display in the theatre’s lobby.
After Feb. 1, the library theatre is also available to rent by individuals and community organizations. To learn about guidelines for use of the facility, visit lclibrary.ca/theatre.
