A man faces charges after police and lottery officials probed a series of Chatham break-ins primarily targeting lottery tickets, Chatham-Kent police say.
Officers teamed with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. to investigate break-ins on Lacroix and St. Clair streets, Indian Creek and National roads, Keil Drive South and Grand Avenue East between Nov. 28 and Dec. 19, police said.
A suspect was arrested Thursday, police said.
A Chatham-Kent man, 34, faces seven counts of breaking and entering, two counts of possessing stolen property and one count of mischief under $5,000, police said. He was held pending a bail hearing.
