Homeowner injured after being pelted with eggs

A homeowner on Dancey Side Road in Charlotteville suffered minor injuries after being pelted with eggs.

At around 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 23 the homeowner and their daughter heard voices outside and decided to check on their property. The pair did not see or hear anyone, but upon walking back towards the home several eggs were thrown at them.

Officers were unable to locate the culprits.

It was discovered that the unknown individuals gained entry into a boat that was located on the property and removed a grey coloured, Canadian Tire tackle box containing bass, perch and walleye baits. The theft is valued at about $800.

Investigation is continuing. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1 – 800 – 222 – 8477. People can also leave an anonymous online message at www.helpsolvecrime.com.
