Monday’s Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) update from Southwestern Public Health shows the number of confirmed ongoing COVID-19 cases in Tillsonburg is now four.
As of Monday, May 4, 10:45 a.m., there are 12 confirmed cases in Oxford County (down five since last Monday), including four in Tillsonburg, three in Woodstock, two in Blanford-Blenheim, and one in Norwich, South-West Oxford and Zorra.

Elgin County reports seven ongoing cases (four in St. Thomas), down five from last Monday.
Four people in Elgin County have died from the coronavirus. There have been no reported Covid-19 deaths of Oxford County residents.
A total of 2,704 people have been tested in Oxford-Elgin, including 344 pending test results.
In total, since early March, there have been 60 cumulative cases in Oxford-Elgin, and 37 have been resolved (no longer infectious).
The Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit reports 196 lab-confirmed cumulative cases (50 recovered) and 30 deaths.
Middlesex-London Health Unit reported seven new cases Monday. The total number of cases in Middlesex-London is 423 (264 resolved), and there have been 40 deaths.
“We may be reaching a turning point in the pandemic fight, but now is not the time to ease up,” states the Middlesex London Health Unit. “What we do today will determine how COVID-19 affects our community, our friends and our families. Thank you for helping slow the spread of COVID-19. Be safe and remember: we’re all in this together.”
Across the province, there have been 342,060 people tested, which includes nearly 100,000 people tested in the last week. There are currently 4,118 confirmed cases in the province (down approximately 1,300 since last Monday).
