Admission for spectators is $15 adults, $10 children 5-13, preschoolers (up to 4) $5.

New this year, there will be a monster truck ride available. True North will be taking groups of riders ($10 each passenger) through a special monster truck area (separate from the mud pits).

“We’ve been doing some monster truck shows in the spring, but for the fall we have monster truck rides,” said Derek Schuster of Gopher Dunes. “You can pay $10 and go for a ride on a monster truck. It won’t be a mud course – everything’s pretty open on those trucks, it’s not too good for them to be in the mud.”

Kids will be entertained Sunday with an inflatable bounce castle on site and face painting.

For adults, “We will have our beer garden, and that’s been going strong since we got the mudfest going. We will also have a bunch of food trucks.”

The mud pit course will be very similar to the 2019 Spring Mudfest (Good Friday this year).

“Nothing changed that’s major,” said Schuster. “That was a big layout change in the spring, and it worked out really well, so all we’ve done is a few minor tweaks and upgrades.”

The trails will also be open for 4×4 trucks.

“I expect the trails to be a lot easier than in the spring. But there is still mud to be found out there too, for sure.”

For more information on the Sept. 15 Fall 4×4 Mudfest go to gopherdunes.com or Gopher Dunes’ Facebook page.

“The website is a great spot for info, the Facebook page is a great spot for updates where you’ll see what we have on the go there, drivers posting updates on trucks they’re building for it, all that type of stuff.”
