The Antique and Classic Car Club of Canada is holding its 65th annual Tour To Yesteryear Sept. 10-16. The tour will be based out of Chatham with club members going on daily tours around the community as well as to locations in Kingsville, London and St. Thomas.
Club member Rick Morrison said the response has been great from club members with about 80 vehicles registered from across Ontario that range from the 1930s through to the 2000s.
He said the club is organizing an event for the public on Sept. 11 in the parking lot of the Cascades Casino in Chatham from 6 p.m. to dusk.
“We’re going to bring all the cars out and we’re inviting people to come out have a look at the cars and meet the people in the club,” Morrison said.
He said there is no food or program at the event, meant to be a chance to mingle with car people and learn about the club.
