The funds, which came from District 2 of the commodity organization, will be split between Chatham Outreach for Hunger and the Salvation Army food banks in Chatham-Kent.

“(The Grain Farmers of Ontario) take our role of growing and providing high-quality, nutritious grains seriously,” a news release from the association’s District 2 said. “In these unprecedented times, we wish to continue to support our community’s access to quality food and nutrition with this donation.”
