Baseball equipment stolen from vehicle

On Monday, Sept. 16, at approximately 2:24 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police Oxford County Detachment investigated a theft in Tillsonburg from a motor vehicle on Rolph Street.

Between Sunday, Sept. 15 and Monday, Sept. 16, unknowns entered a vehicle in the driveway of a residence, removing baseball equipment and a pair of prescription sunglasses.

The theft is valued at approximately $1,600.

The OPP is urging all vehicle owners to lock and secure their vehicle and to remove any valuables. If anyone observes suspicious activity they are being asked to call police immediately.

Members of the Oxford County OPP are continuing to investigate and are seeking the public’s assistance with this investigation. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the Oxford County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

Ownership, insurance documents stolen from unlocked vehicle

On Monday, Sept. 16, 2019, at approximately 8:40 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police Oxford County Detachment investigated a theft from a motor vehicle at a Tillson Avenue, Tillsonburg address.

It was determined that in the early morning hours, unknowns gained entry into an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway of the residence. The ownership and insurance documents for the vehicle were taken.

Prayer, hymn book stolen from vehicle

On Tuesday, Sept. 3, at approximately 10:07 a.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Oxford County Detachment investigated a theft from a motor vehicle at a Rolph Street, Tillsonburg address.

In the early morning hours, unknowns agained entry into a vehicle and removed the ownership and insurance documents for the vehicle, a prayer/hymn book, and a bottle of water.

The OPP is urging all vehicle owners to lock and secure their vehicle and to remove any valuables. If anyone observes suspicious activity they are being asked to call police immediately.

Vehicle windows smashed

On Tuesday, Sept. 17, at approximately 5:54 a.m., the Ontario Provincial Police Oxford County Detachment investigated a mischief after being called to an Otterville Road, Norwich Township address.

It was determined that in the early morning hours, unknowns damaged the windshield and passenger side window of a parked pickup truck on the property.

The OPP is urging all vehicle owners to lock and secure their vehicle and to remove any valuables. If anyone observes suspicious activity they are being asked to call police immediately.

Members of the Oxford County OPP are continuing to investigate and are seeking the public’s assistance with this investigation. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the Oxford County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
