The Oil Museum of Canada in Oil Springs hosted a Cackling Cauldrons trick-or-treat event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Buckets of candy and activities were available at various locations throughout the facility.

Christina Sydorko, the museum’s educational program co-ordinator, estimated about 75 kids, many dressed in costumes, came through during the first hour and they were expecting about 300 in total. Sydorko thanked their sponsors, including Shell Canada, for paying for the candy and making the event free.
