Two Canadian bands will join a two-day virtual, international festival of world music.

Toronto’s Lemon Bucket Orkestra and Quebec’s É.T.É will represent Canada at the new Culturas 360 festival March 27-28, organized by London’s TD Sunfest in collaboration with eight other festivals from around the world.

The new, free festival also will feature two musical acts each from India, Mozambique, Spain, Mexico, Cuba, Chile, Portugal and Cape Verde.

It is the first of what organizers hope will become an annual event.

In press materials, Culturas 360 is described as “a global initiative connecting diverse audiences on five continents and providing unique opportunities for outstanding artists to perform and collaborate internationally.”
