Through WOW or, the wonder of work program, several grades 5 and 6 students are chosen to attend for four terms. Each term consists of five weeks at a campus or institution like Red River College, the University of Winnipeg or the University of Manitoba. Participants are divided into groups of approximately 15 students including students from other schools and communities to encourage relationship building.

The program runs for 20 Saturdays from October until April. In total each child will experience 80 different careers in 17 different fields.

To increase awareness of each field, activities are engaging, active and practical. Lectures are minimized and homework is not a part of the program.

At each campus, the participants spend an hour a day in four different careers. Students have started to explore career choices this month.
