to be helpful.

Shouting at the Russian soldiers –

provoking and annoying them –

she offered them sunflower seeds.

Risking her life

with these powerful men

she suggested

that they deposit the seeds

in their pockets.

Her message was simple:

if they should die on Ukrainian soil

their corpses might do some good.
