Police investigating Prouse Road collision

On Tuesday, June 12, at approximately 3:02 p.m., members of the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a two-vehicle collision between a motorcycle and pickup truck on Prouse Road, west of Culloden Line, in South-West Oxford Township.
The investigation, thus far, has revealed that the motorcycle was travelling westbound on Prouse Road, and the pickup truck was travelling eastbound on Prouse Road. The pickup attempted to turn into a laneway, which resulted in a head on collision.
As a result of the collision, the adult male driver of the motorcycle was transported to hospital with serious injuries. The adult female passenger on the motorcycle was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The adult male driver of the pickup truck was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Southwest Oxford Fire Department and Oxford County Paramedics assisted at the scene. The roadway was closed for several hours to allow the OPP technical collision investigators to process the scene of the collision.
The incident remains under investigation.
