OPP say they have recovered a number of collector coins sets they believe are stolen

Oxford OPP say they are looking for the rightful owners of suspected stolen collector coins.

A large quantity of Canadian collector coin sets, and single Canadian collector coins were recently seized from a local pawn shop.

These coins are believed to be stolen from the Oxford County and surrounding area.

The coins may have been stolen from residential break, enter and thefts and would have been sometime before February 20, 2018.

Anyone who may have further information regarding these coins is asked to contact Oxford County OPP Street Crime Team at 519-485-6554 or the OPP at 1-800-310-1122.

They should be prepared to identify the specific coins that may belong to them.
