Join the Station Arts Centre and their in-house group, the Stationhouse Quilters & Fibre Artists in an eclectic showing of quilts and more. The Art & Functionality of Quilting is showcased by the many and varied quilts, wall hangings, table runners and more.
This group has been a part of the Station Arts Centre for approximately three years. They enjoy fun and fellowship on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month. They have ladies that are new to the art of quilting and ladies that have quilted most of their lives. Experience and knowledge get passed around the table when someone needs help. Knitting and crocheting, appliqueing and embroidery also fit this group. One of the ladies enjoys creating digitalized designs for her work.
Come join these creative, energetic, lively women and enjoy the fruits of their labour. Show opens Thursday, Oct. 5 from 7-9 p.m. Admission is free.
