Electronics stolen in Tillsonburg

On Wednesday December 7, the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a theft complaint at the Shoppers Drug Mart in The Town Centre mall on Broadway in Tillsonburg.

Investigation revealed a male suspect entered the store at approximately 9 p.m. and had contact with store employees asking about gaming systems. The male then indicated he wished to purchase the items and as the transaction was taking place the male then fled the store on foot without paying for the items valued at approximately $1,000.

He is described as follows:

White male, 30-40 years old

6’0” - 6'2” in height

Medium build

Strawberry/blond facial hair

Wearing a dark winter toque, grey zip-up sweater with a black vest over top

Items stolen from Shoppers Drug Mart are as follows: Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Police are also investigating the theft of a 49-inch LG television, valued at approximately $550, from the Canadian Tire store on Broadway in Tillsonburg that occurred earlier the same evening. Police believe the same male is responsible for the theft.
