Hello everyone! We hope you enjoyed the very long Knightly News article last week. That should have caught you up on what’s happening at Monsignor J.H. O’Neil Catholic School.

We honoured our brave soldiers who fought for our freedom and safety during our Remembrance Day assembly on November 11th. Thanks to the Student Parliament for putting this together. We hope this is a reminder to everyone not to take our lives for granted.

On November 13th, the Grade 8 students attended another Confirmation class where they were able to learn more about their faith as a young adult.

On November 16th, Saidat, will be making an energetic Anti-Bullying presentation at St. Joseph’s Catholic School!! She is very inspirational, uplifting and motivating. You won’t want to miss her presentation.

The weather is getting especially chilly so just a quick reminder to everyone to dress appropriate to stay warm!

There will be a Chocolate Bar Fundraiser kickoff this week! Students will be selling chocolate bars/almonds for $3 each to raise money to enhance our technology at O’Neil. They look and smell delicious if I do say so myself. There are also many prizes for the students to win!

Just a reminder you can stay even more informed just by texting @msgroneil to (226) 798-0874.

Our students continue to practice hard for our amazing musical “Annie” which will be performed in May. Thanks to Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. VanDaele for directing our students.

That’s it for this week’s Knightly News. We look forward to our next edition.
