Our opening match featured a close A Division battle as Danbrook continued their winning ways but not without a good scare from Verne’s. It was the Carpet crew jumping into the early 4-2 1st half lead but the 2nd was more of Auto as they cruised to victory with a 6-1 margin.
Leading the Auto attack was Jason Beard with four, followed by singles from Adrian Arnoudse, Kyle Karwur, Jan Arnoudse and goalie Mike Thompson. Carpet got singles from Jenn Whittington, Wyatt Jull, Carlos Oliveira, Rory Liston and Dustin Donais.

Tillson Pizza 6
Our 2nd battle was a B fixture with lots of goals with Laser blasting out to a 6-4 1st half edge. It was Laser doubling it again 4-2 in the 2nd to take all the points.
Leading the Laser crew were Ryan VanLeeuwen with a hat trick, followed by doubles from Bobby Orr, Scott Dunbar and goalie Tyler VanLeeuwen. Jill Yarmie added the single. Pizza got two apiece from Molson Page and Brayden Simon and singles by Nancy Teixeira and Laura Oliveira.

Poultry Specialties 6
Wow the Landscapers do it again! But this time they had to edge out a very strong Poultry crew. They led 4-3 at the half and then equalized the 2nd to steal the win.
Don Evanitski had the hot foot again with four, followed by singles from Griffin Simon, Jeremy VanWynsberghe and Max Evanitski. Poultry got a hat trick from Stephan De Groote, two by Andy Metselaar and the single from Garret Schuurman.

Pettman’s Auction 7
In our final battle of the week, it was another “B” Division matchup and again featured lots of offense. It was Courtland taking the early lead 5-2 at the half but Auction came back strong in the 2nd with five goals but it wasn’t enough to overcome the deficit.
Our top scorer Leo Centeno was on fire again leading his Courtland crew with six, followed by a pair from John Rachar and singles by Romel Diaz and Eduardo Centeno. Auction’s big gun was goalie Shaine Jansen with three, followed by singles from Duane Phillips, Matt Davis, Rudi Vanittersum and Jared Pettman.
Saturday Feb. 20th is the Annual Indoor Tournament 9 AM – 5 PM. Everyone welcome to play - $10 for new players & friends!
