Children and adults are invited to enjoy an evening campfire experience at Backus Heritage Conservation Area on Friday, Oct. 30.
Known as 'Campfire Circle,' the event provides an opportunity for families to listen to stories, sing songs and enjoy the night sky around the glow of a campfire. The historic buildings of Backus Heritage Village will provide a backdrop for this fun family event. Activities run from 7 until 8:30 p.m.
Marshmallows will be provided for toasting as part of the evening’s activities. Admission is $2 per person.
Backus Heritage Conservation Area is located 2 kilometres north of Port Rowan. For more information call Robin DeCloet, Heritage Programmer/Curator at 519-586-2201, ext 228.
