Tillsonburg's Rebecca Blake is an abstract artist currently showing at the Station Arts Centre on Bridge Street.
'In Motion' will be on exhibit in the Changing Exhibit Gallery until April 29. Tillsonburg Station Arts Centre is open 9-4 Monday to Friday, and 9-2 Saturdays in April. Admission is always free.
Blake, who spent her childhood in Langley, B.C., initially began painting abstract art as a way to disconnect from her outside world and to live entirely in the moment. Her designs are never pre-planned and are created as a result of spontaneous expression.
Blake has now turned her passion for abstract art into a career which allows her to explore her love of colour and texture and to share that passion with others.
She now lives with her husband and toddler in Tillsonburg, where she enjoys family life and painting.
