Fatal collision in Norwich Township

Members of the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police are at the scene of a single motor vehicle collision on Oxford Road 13, north of Maple Dell Road in Norwich Township. The collision occurred at approximately 7:50 a.m.
The motor vehicle struck a hydro pole and the driver was ejected. Oxford Emergency Medical Services (EMS) transported the man to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are attending the scene to continue with the investigation. Otterville Fire and Ontario Hydro attended and assisted at the scene.
Road Closure: Oxford Road 13 between Maple Dell Road and Pleasant Valley Road; also Maple Dell Road between Middletown Line and Zenda Line.
The roads will remain closed for several hours. The investigation is continuing.
