On Friday, December 12, at approximately 5:35 p.m. Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to the report of a robbery at the CIBC Bank located in the Town Centre Mall on Broadway in Tillsonburg.
A lone male entered the bank shortly after 5:30 p.m. and approached the female teller. The male threatened the teller, indicating he had a weapon. He stole a quantity of cash and fled the area on foot.
An arrest warrant in relation to the robbery has now been issued for, Christopher Grant Sheardown, 31 years of age, of no fixed address. According to police, the suspect does have ties to Tillsonburg, Woodstock and the Brantford area. He is described as 6’0”, thin build, approximately 180 pounds with dark hair.
