Captains Veterans games tonight at WCI

Oxford County high school girls basketball players will get one last shot this year to suit up for their schools on the court.
Woodstock Collegiate Institute will host the annual Captains/Veterans All-Star game Thursday night, with the juniors playing at 6 p.m. and the seniors going at 8 p.m.
The game features 20 junior and 16 senior players split between six schools in the TVRA East Division.
Players come from College Avenue, Huron Park and Woodstock Collegiate and make up one team, while Lord Dorchester, Ingersoll District Collegiate and Tillsonburg's Glendale High Schoolwill round out the second squad.
Players are chosen by each school's coaching staff based on their skill, dedication and leadership, among other qualities on and off the court.
Admission is $5 for the general public and $3 for students with all proceeds going to the Movember campaign and the Children's Aid Society Angel Tree Campaign.
