Week 4

Tuesday, Nov. 11

Computer Station 4,

Pettman’s Auction 3

Our first game of the week featured a very defensive match with the Auction crew taking the early 2-1 1st half lead. The 2nd half saw Computer comeback and out score their opponents by a close 3-1 margin and steal the win.

Station’s Andy Metselaar got two with singles from Anthony Simon and goalie Neil Puente. Auction got singles from Gerrit Pelleboer, Terry Neudorf and Rudi Vanittersum.

DoneRight Landscaping 10,

Ontario Laser 5

Our 2nd game saw DoneRight roll out their 4th win in a row but not without a tough 1st half from the Laser gang. They led only 4-3 at the half before dominating the 2nd 6-2.

Max Evanitski did most of damage scoring with five, followed by a doubles from Erik Kok and Don Evanitski and the single by Stephen Richardson. Laser got a pair from Chris Coldham and singles by Scott Dunbar, Ryan VanLeeuwen and Cedric Tomico.

Wednesday, Nov. 12

Signshop 7,

Tillson Pizza 5

Wednesday featured another closely contested matchup as Signshop needed a 2nd half comeback to wreck Pizza’s 3-0 start. It was Pizza taking the early 4-3 1st half lead before Signshop shut them down in the 2nd.

Signshop’s big guns were Leo Centeno and Eduardo Centeno with hat tricks, followed by a single from Romel Diaz. Pizza got their five singles from Kurt Vanittersum, Marlon Schott/Rameirz, Aalt Pelleboer, Devon Schuurman and Stephen Degroote.

Verne’s Carpet One 10,

Corey’s Restaurant 4

The 2nd game had Verne’s jumping into a 5-1 1st half lead with Corey’s putting up a stronger 2nd half effort scoring three more but too little too late.

Carlos Oliveira had the hot foot for Verne’s banging home five, followed by a Lucas Bos hat trick and singles by Joe Lopes and Marijn Noorland. Corey’s got a pair from goalie Mike Mesquita and singles by George Papadakos and Chad Lofthouse.

Thursday, Nov. 13

Courtland PPM 10,

Kraushaar Machine 8

Our Thursday games featured very close matchups once again as Kraushaar clawed back in the 2nd after going down 7-2 in the 1st. Courtland hung tough with a total team effort as all seven players hit the scoresheet.

Leading the way was Greg VanWynsberghe with three, a pair by Doug Menezes and singles from Bobby Orr, Trista Langrell, Nancy Teixeira, Tyler Harvey and goalie Shaine Jansen. The Machine got doubles from Kris Foreman, Robert Butchey and Cody Kraushaar with singles by Nick McDonald and goalie Mike Thompson.

Poultry Specialties 6,

Danbrook Auto 4

And finally to finish off the week, the Poultry crew came back from a very slim 2-1 deficit to score six 2nd half markers and record a big win.

Leading the way was Shayne Tremblay with two, followed by singles from Jan Bos, Nate Shearer, Aaron Charby and Molson Page. The Auto gang got a hat trick from Mike Beal and a single from Nichole Danbrook.

Tuesday, Nov. 18 – 8 p.m. - Verne’s vs Kraushaar; 9 p.m. - Tillson Pizza vs DoneRight

Wednesday, Nov. 19 – 8 p.m. - Laser vs Danbrook; 9 p.m. - Poultry vs Corey’s

Thurs. Nov. 20 – 8 p.m. - Signshop vs Computer; 9 p.m. - Auction vs Courtland
