The Halloween Spectacular on Saturday marked the 10-year anniversary of CCW wrestling in Tillsonburg. This show would also be the last Classic Championship Wrestling show planned for Tillsonburg.
But what better show to go out with, than the Halloween show. A show full of monsters, super heroes, video game stars, and of course some of the best professional wrestling that you will find anywhere.
And in front of a packed house at the Tillsonburg Legion CCW went out with a bang.
Now for the quick show results:
Match 1 - Red Power Ranger defeated Street Fighter Ken via pinfall after a Super Kick.
Match 2 - The Incredible Hulk defeated Super Mario via pinfall after a Double Power Slam on Super Mario and his manager Toad.
Match 3 - Captain Spaulding defeated The Bowlby via pinfall after a running Spear through a table in the corner of the ring.
Match 4 - Wonder Woman and Evilyn defeated Skeletor after Evilyn enlisted the help of Jay McDonald who knocked out Skeletor via a top rope coast to coast and set up Wonder Woman for the pin.
Match 5 - Duffman defeated The Wolfman via pinfall after a Stunner.
Match 6 - The Joker and Harley Quinn defeated the team of Jason and Michelle Myers via a pile up four-person pinfall that had Harley Quinn on top.
Match 7 - "Dangerboy" Derek Wylde defeated Cody Deaner to retain his Heavyweight Title after an amazing 45 minute "I Quit" Match.
On a personal note I would like to thank all the Tillsonburg fans for showing their support for the past decade. Like Cody Deaner mentioned after his match, Tillsonburg is by far the best place to wrestling in Ontario.
I would also like to give a special thanks to Chris Abbott, Jeff Tribe and the Tillsonburg News. It has been your support since day one that has helped me reach out and spread the wrestling word. I would not have been able to do it without you!
I am going to miss running show here in my hometown and I hope to be back sometime down the road.
