Back 'n Motion U16s win ringette home opener

Tillsonburg's Back 'n Motion U16 Twisters won their first regional ringette game of the season Saturday at the Kinsmen Memorial Park.

"A good start to the season," said coach Mike Dew after Back 'n Motion defeated St. Thomas 5-1. "A new addition to the team, Mackenzie Lindie – her first time playing goalie – is an asset to our team, doing a excellent job."

The U16 Twisters roster includes Hannah Bosma, Katie Becht, Hailey Martin, Mariah Barras, Kaitlyn Gee, Lauren Cowan, Lauren Robbins, Stephanie Parker, Emma Dew, Justine Lemaich, and Sierra Nutley. On the coaching staff are head coach Mike Dew, assistant coaches Bob Becht, Jodi Nutley, trainer Lisa Adams, and managers Dan and Christine Gee.
