On the front page (Tillsonburg News, August 8) you had a picture of four young boys raising money for the Children's Hospital. I think this was wonderful of you children to put your talents to such a good cause.
I used to do volunteer work at a Children's Hospital years ago. It was very rewarding.
Here is a chorus of a song I have on a record. It is about a little girl whose mother was in heaven. She would sing to help her daddy make ends meet. Her daddy would tell her:
"Keep on singing,
You're going to make
a lot of people happy,
When they come to hear you sing."
I'm sure you made a lot of people happy as they came to hear you all sing and play music on the corner.
