17-year-old charged with possessing break-in instruments

Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police were called to the area of Centennial Avenue in Tillsonburg Saturday, July 5 for a report of suspect(s) entering vehicles, shortly after 4 a.m.

OPP located and arrested one male youth on Stoney Court, while a second male youth was observed fleeing the scene.

A 17-year-old Tillsonburg male is charged with: Possession Break-In Instruments - Criminal Code of Canada; Person under 19 years consuming liquor - Liquor Licence Act; and Being intoxicated in a public place - Liquor Licence Act.

The male was released on a Promise to Appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on August 21, 2014. The 17-year-old youth cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

The investigation is continuing.
