Three firearms located, four Tillsonburg males arrested

Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a break and enter to a residence located on Fourth Street, in the Town of Tillsonburg which occurred between Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9.
As a result of investigation and warrants executed, three firearms were recovered and four males arrested. A Smith & Wesson M&P – 223 calibre rifle remains outstanding.
A 22-yearold Tillsonburg male was charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following:
* Fail to Comply with Probation Order (2 counts)
* Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
* Possession of a firearm, prohibited or restricted weapon obtained by crime
* Possession of Prohibited or Restricted Firearm/ammunition
* Careless storage of Firearm, weapon, Prohibited device or ammunition
* Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order
* Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 – in Canada
* Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
A 25-year-old Tillsonburg male was charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following:
* Careless Use of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited device or Ammunition
* Possession of a firearm, prohibited or restricted weapon obtained by crime
* Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
* Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
Occupant of Motor Vehicle knowing there was a Firearm
* Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order
A 27-year-old Tillsonburg male was charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following:
* Careless Use of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited device or Ammunition
* Possession of a firearm, prohibited or restricted weapon obtained by crime
* Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
* Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
* Occupant of Motor Vehicle knowing there was a Firearm
* Possession of Firearm or ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order
* Fail to Comply with Probation Order
* Break & Enter a place and steal a firearm
A 29-year-old Tillsonburg male was charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following:
* Careless Use of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited device or Ammunition
* Possession of a firearm, prohibited or restricted weapon obtained by crime
* Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
* Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
* Occupant of Motor Vehicle knowing there was a Firearm
All four males have been remanded into custody pending bail hearings. The investigation is continuing.
