Rusnak moves on the Royal Canadian Legion Public Speaking Contest provincials in Ottawa

Courtland's Aalanna Ramona Rusnak, a Grade 3 student at Our Lady of Fatima, won her area's Royal Canadian Legion Speaking Contest primary (Grades 1-3) division in Milton on Saturday.
Rusnak shines in Legion Public Speaking Contest
Rusnak, who talked about her schoolboard taking public speaking out of the curriculum and the importance of good communication skills, will be competing this Saturday, May 3, at the Provincial Championships in Ottawa. She will be representing Zones A and B, a combined 119 Royal Canadian Legions, at the provincial level which includes more than 470 Legions.
Her journey began when she won the 2014 Delhi Legion branch competition.
