Bidwell drug bust valued at $3,480

Execution of a search warrant at a 117 Bidwell St. residence has resulted in the seizure of an estimated $3,480 worth of illegal drugs and the arrest of two Tillsonburg men.
Members of the OPP Drug Enforcement Unit, Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit and Oxford OPP detachment members executed the warrant at approximately 10:54 p.m. on Thursday, April 10. As a result of the search, cocaine, cannabis marihuana bud, oxyneo, four firearms and a variety of ammunition, a firearms licence and a 1990 GMC Sonoma were seized. The following charges were laid under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
A 25-year-old Tillsonburg male is charged with:
Trafficking Schedule I substance – Cocaine.
Possession of a schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking – under 3 kilograms x 2.
Possession of a Schedule I substance – Other drugs.
Possession of schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine.
A 33-year-old Tillsonburg male is charged with:
Possession of a schedule I substance – Cocaine.
Possession of a Schedule II substance – Marihuana – over 30 grams.
Both males were held for a bail hearing at Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock.
