Norfolk OPP investigate stolen vehicle collision, tractor recovered

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment was called to investigate a vehicle collision at a Hazen Road, South Walsingham.

On Saturday, March 22, at approximately 7:55 a.m., police were contacted by a concerned citizen about a pick-up truck that was located in the ditch.

Through police investigation it was determined that a 1999 Ford pick-up truck was taken from a Regional 6 Road, Norfolk County address during the early morning hours and became involved in a single motor vehicle collision.

During the course of the investigation a red coloured Massey Ferguson tractor was also located at the scene which was not involved in the collision. It was determined that the tractor had been taken from a 2nd Concession Road, South Walsingham address during the early morning hours.

The Norfolk County OPP Detachment is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
