Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a single motor vehicle rollover on Heritage Line just south of Highway 3 in the Municipality of Bayham, southwest of Tillsonburg, Wednesday afternoon.
At the time of the collision, a grey Pontiac Grand Am travelling east on Highway 3 was in the process of merging onto Heritage Line when the vehicle made contact with the curb causing the vehicle to travel over a snow bank and into the south ditch rolling onto its roof.
The driver, a 50-year-old Bayham man, was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured in the collision. There were no other occupants in the vehicle.
As a result of the investigation police arrested the man and charged him with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, possession of cannabis marijuana, disqualified driving, and refusal to provide breath samples.
The man has been held in custody pending a show cause bail hearing being on Friday, Feb. 20, 2014.
